Q: WHEN IS IT?

Q: WHAT'S THE CLOSEST AIRPORT / TRAIN STATION?
A: Memphis International Airport is 70 miles north of the site.
Amtrak’s City of New Orleans stops daily at Marks, MS, 30 miles east.
Q: WHAT ABOUT LODGING?
A: The festival is six miles northwest of Clarksdale, MS, a really cool place that has a variety of both mainstream and quirky, off-beat places to stay.

Q: IS THERE AN AGE RESTRICTION?
A: Nope! Mighty Roots Music Festival is an All-Ages Show.
In fact, music fans 10 years old and younger get in FREE! - must be accompanied by an adult 25 or older.
If you bring a child to the event, you are 100% responsible for that child. Respect other adults and do not allow an unsupervised child to diminish the experience of other ticket buyers. If your child is unsupervised and a buzzkill for someone, the festival has the right in its sole opinion to eject you and your child from the event.
Q: WHAT CAN I BRING IN WITH ME?
Please feel free to bring your lawn chair or camp chair, as well as blankets.
Please keep your festival kit in a clear bag no larger than 17 x 13 x 9
Single strollers are of course allowed, but subject to search
Empty poster tubes are cool.
A personal water bottle is fine, and we will have festival water bottles for sale on site. There will be two hydration stations for refills.
Q: WHAT’S NOT ALLOWED?
No outside alcohol or food can be brought into the festival (although campsites may be provisioned, but it doesn’t come into the festival perimeter).
No large, staked or golf umbrellas (small handheld ok)
No golf carts or four-wheelers
No frames, no camping gear
No backpacks
No glass
No coolers
No camelback or similar water-carrying backpacks (Camelbacks clear insert bag is allowed if it fits our ‘clear bag size requirement’ noted above*)
No illegal drugs including inhalants
(THC seltzer will be available for purchase at all festival bars!)No pressurized tanks
No balloons
No weapons
No fireworks
No unlicensed vending of any kind
No hammocks
No professional photography or video equipment
No audio recording equipment or microphone stands
No drones without prior approval
No laser pointers
Q: IS MIGHTY ROOTS ADA ACCESSIBLE?
A: While the site is ADA accessible, much of the site is rough terrain. ADA accessible toilets are available.
Q: PETS & SERVICE ANIMALS
A: Mighty Roots is a pet-friendly event. Pets must be on a leash, and if your pet poops, we fully expect you to pick that sh*t up!
Of course, Service Animals are always allowed.
All animals MUST HAVE AND WEAR A CURRENT ANTI-RABIES VACCINATION TAG!!!!!
All animals must be accompanied by the owner or designated controller at all times.
Pets and service animals shall not be left unattended under any circumstances.
Handlers are required to be prepared for, and clean-up after, their animals at all times. Management reserves the right to remove and/or refuse access to any animal from the campground or venue if that animal is deemed to be a health or safety threat to festival patrons, staff, or other animals, or in violation of these policies.
Q: WHAT ABOUT PARKING?
A: Mighty Roots will have free parking available onsite in multiple locations. Follow the parking teams directions when arriving to the festival, they will guide you an available parking spot.
Q: ARE THERE ONSITE STORAGE LOCKERS?
A: There are no storage lockers on site and event staff will NOT store items that are not allowed on site. If you decide to leave items at any entrance gate, they will be considered a security risk and disposed of.
Q: WHAT ELSE SHOULD I KNOW?
A: Pace yourself!
Eat enough, drink enough water (it’s really important to stay hydrated), and get enough sleep so that you can enjoy the second day as much as the first.
Also, if you can bring patience and a sense of humor, it will be a great gift to yourself as well as those around you, and it will help you to get the most out of your experience.
Be a good neighbor – get to know your neighbors, watch their stuff and they will return the favor.
Q: IS THERE A LOST AND FOUND?
A: Yep! On site, you can look for your lost item at the Security/Medical shed by the VIP area, which is where lost items and people are sent.
Ticketing FAQs
Q: WHERE DO I PURCHASE A TICKET TO MIGHTY ROOTS?
A: You can purchase your tickets on our web site or on Eventbrite.com or at at the festival box office on show days. Staff will be able to sell you a real ticket, but not exchange, discount, or barter for a counterfeit.
Q: HOW WILL I RECEIVE MY TICKET?
A: Once your purchase is complete, you will receive an order confirmation email and your ticket which you can present from your phone or print a hard copy at home . If you do not see your order confirmation in your inbox, make sure to check your junk/spam folder. If you still do not see your order confirmation, please contact us at tickets@mightyrootsmusicfestival.com.
Q: DO WRISTBANDS ALLOW RE-ENTRY?
A: Once you have a wristband you can come and go from the festival site and explore!

LEGAL INFORMATION
Mighty Roots Festival takes place rain or shine. Ticket is for Mighty Roots Festival, not for a specific artist. Artists and schedule subject to change without notice. Artist cancellation is not grounds for refund. The ticket is a revocable license for the time/date listed on the ticket. All Passholders must pass through security and are subject to bag inspection. Please check the list of what is allowed and what needs to stay at home. There is nowhere to store items not allowed on festival grounds and the only one responsible for items you have left at the gate is you. Prohibited items will be confiscated by event staff. By purchasing a ticket you accept the terms and conditions. Email tickets@mightyrootsmusicfestival.com for complete terms and conditions legalese, but it’s what you would expect.
