Mighty Roots is 6 miles outside of Clarksdale, Mississippi, home of John Lee Hooker, Jackie Brinston, Ike Turner, and Rick Ross. That’s quite a musical output for a town of 16,000 people. And, no town in Mississippi has done more with its musical and cultural heritage than Clarksdale has.
