Reed Brake is inspired by life lived in nature and close to the bone. The quartet pulls from a wide range of musical influences to play their own brand of improvisational roots rock. Their catalog of original songs spans genres and themes, but woven through each is a consistent thread of the Reed Brake sound. They are not afraid to take risks and thrive with on stage experimentation. The band’s sets consist of mostly original material, but they sprinkle in covers they have adapted to fit their sound. Their debut album, Visions and Dreams, was released in July 2023. In April 2024, the band released the Mixedwoods EP. Home base for the band is Tuscaloosa, Alabama. Reed Brake is Jack Adams (vocals, guitar), Lucas Hales (bass), Justin Hart (vocals, mandolin), and David Phillips (drums)
